Of Jams and a play...but all went well.. =)

Short talk:
I'm hesitant whether should I take my Grade 2 rock exam this year or after STPM. Well, hopefully I can score with flying colours for my Final Exam.

I went for Broken Bridges The Musical at KLPac with Quin and her play-mates. *Please don't think nonsense.*

And once again, thank you Chien Yih for the tickets and wonderful seats. Gracias Amigo.

Quin and I arrived late because I took the wrong turn and succumbed to a traffic jam in KL on Friday night. But well, we managed to go in ON-TIME. =)

Broken Bridges - The Musical

Written by: Lim Chuang Yik and Teng Ky-Gan

Executive Producer: Dato' Faridah Merican

Director: Joe Hasham

Musical Director: James Boyle

Choreographer: Pat Chan

Set Designers: Loo Jia-Wei & Arica Chia

Wardrobe Designer: Chin Khin Yeow

Cast: Douglas Lim, Colin Kirton, Ho Soon Yoon, Joanne Kam Poh Poh, Tony Eusoff and MORE...

BROKEN BRIDGES is set in Ipoh in the 1950's. The protagonist, Ming, seeks to chart his own destiny while his father, Wong, has his own ideas for his son. Wong is the quintessential Chinese towkay, to the extent of arranging his son's marriage. Ming's best friend and neighbour, Leong, plays the obedient son. The stark contrast in these two characters begs the question: 'So what's wrong with the old ways?', and on the other hand, 'So what's wrong with the new ways?' With a persuasive cousin from the big city, Ringo, appearing on the scene, Ming finally decides to go against his father's wishes and leaves for Kuala Lumpur.

10 years later, Ming returns as a successful contractor, whose project is to tear down the marketplace and in its place, erect a new building. Problems occur; an unhappy relationship with the beautiful head-strong and self-opinionated Mei Ling; construction problems; promised sums of compensation never arriving...the townsfolk become troubled and angry. Wong, in a final act of fatherly love, makes a sacrifice for his son, totally unknown to Ming. Ming leaves Ipoh, humiliated, disappointed and totally ashamed of his father.

In the epilogue, Ming returns 30 years later, and only then discovers the fate of his father.

(P/s: I copied this from the website.)

On the other hand, I've received my Grade 2 Rock Exam Book. Gosh, why Grade 2 while Grade 3 suits me more? Well, Grade 2 is not too bad though, at least I can scarify the examiners. =)

The music piece is so darn freaking easy! I was hoping for this:

I guess I have to bear with it then. And for your information, that book costs a BOMB. Take a wild guess. IT costs me FREAKING RM145! My gosh!

Not too bad though because a CD is enclosed with it.

That CD must have cost RM 70.

Random pictures:

My array of guitar picks. =)

Time to clean my computer desk. =(

*P/s: This is another blablayawnyawn boring post.

A broken soldier....

Short talk:
I'm currently working on an album - Time to wake up and break Dawn. Yes yes, this project has been going on since last year. But, I want will complete it by this year!

A broken soldier
I was a soldier, back from world war 3;

To many, I am a hero;

Little did they notice, I'm now disabled;

Unable to walk, I'm lying on the bed;

Praying that someday, I could get back on my feet;

This is just another fat hope of mine;

Soon, my vision fails as days go by;

Addition to my disabilities, I'm now blind;

I could not read nor run;

I'm no more the ordinary me;

Would you stay by my side, and walk me through my obstacles;

Would you read to me, since my eyes are no longer in use;

I thanked God for not taking all my senses away;

As I can still feel you, hear you and even whisper to you;

I can see you with my heart, as it is not frozen yet;

I feel warm and comfort, whenever you're around me;

Without you, I'll just lie there and wait for my soul to slip away......

A broken soldier I might be, but not a broken soul,

Because I know that you're always there for me.......

Of birthday and vodka which lead to singings.

Short Talk:
Here's an ice cream for you, st .

It was Justin's birthday yesterday *my rock kaki*. So, we went to the nearby BBQ-Steamboat-Buffet-Restaurant and celebrated his 18th Birthday. Early part of the celebration was normal. Serious, not much uber cool things happened unless getting yourself burnt by the butter is considered as one. =)

I reckon paying a visit to that restaurant is gonna deprive my health. But, it's all worth it because, a bunch of friends get to meet up and enjoy a "wonderful" dinner together. Wonderful over there doesn't mean boring blablayawnyawn mind you, wonderful as in I could hear many screaming in agony due to the burnt by hot butter.

As usual, a dinner consisted of eating and chit-chats. Gee was meantioning Buddha rock. Yes, I totally agreed with him that Buddha was the first rocker in the world.

This hand sign later evolved to this:

Get the picture?

Later on that night, we went to Gee's place to booze up! We had Vanilla Vodka and Baileys, not to forget Coke as well. All of us were happily mixing the drinks and didn't bother to know the outcome. But heck it! We still drink it anyway.

Most of them got drunk partially. And the hype me, took the guitar and started playing. I guess everyone was in their "high" state and they did sing along.

You can really sense the drunk-ness from the songs they were singing.

Songs sang:
  1. Wonderwall -Oasis *Not too bad la, rockers wert*
  2. When You Say Nothing At All - Ronan Keating *Oh my god*
  3. Hero - Enrique Eglesias *My oh my...*
  4. For You I Will - Teddy Geiger *What the f**k?!*
  5. Collide - Howie Day *Can someone call the ambulance?*
  6. The Middle - Jimmy Eat World *Luckily they went back to their normal state*
Many would ask, what's wrong with singing For You I Will or Collide. Nothing's wrong actually. But bare in mind those peeps are Indie Boys and Emo Kids. =)

Of a toad and a prince...and I'm just plain vain.

Short talk:
I'm going to take my Grade 3 Rock Exam if possible. I asked Zhang whether does he have any idea about Rock Exam. Guess what he told me.
"Oh, is it an exam where you throw rocks at people?"

It was a Saturday morning! As usual, Saturdays are my HOLY-days where I'll set my mind free and do something not related to academics. Guess I've turned to another drummer marching band - by the name 'studies'. Yup, I was in the MPPJ Public Library last Saturday.

I used to think that I will not accomplish something in the library. Example, I will never finish reading a chapter of something or even finish my work. And this is one pattern that will never change! Well, practically what I did from 11 a.m. till 5 p.m. was reading 3 pages of Vectors in Halliday and Resnick. In addition, I managed to copy some notes for my English essay. So what happened to the rest of the time-span? *drums rolling* I was doing something which Tysern enjoys alot, cam-whoring and taking pictures.

Vectors can be perplexing.

Firgures...

A great companion to bring along I reckon.

Actually, Patrick could concentrate on studying or doing work in the library. It's just that the longer he stays in the library, the more he feels like slacking from his task.

Firstly, when he is stuck in certain questions, most likely you'll find him doing this as he tries to brainstorm solutions.

Nerd King On The Move

Sometimes, he can be quite helpful in enlightening others on how he got that particular solution.

E = mc^2

And yet, when he tries to concentrate, he'll be distracted by lil' things like this.

I'm the "poke-ee" *po-key*!

And when he's really really bored and has got nothing to do, he'll most probably stultify others from their work. For instance, he'll play Godzilla.

Rawrr...!

A stoning friend of Patrick, Kar Fai.

Heavy la!!!

Patrick could just have the mood to take pictures while his friends were busy studying.

Smile la sikit...

It was approaching night time. Customary, I will have this kind of Saturday Night Fever as I need to at least go out or do something fun!

Fortunately, Quin called me after our library trip and asked me whether am I interested in Puteri Gunung Ledang The Musical as she has free tickets. I couldn't make up my mind because I was hesitant whether to show up for the musical. As far as I knew, Puteri Gunung Ledang in Form 4 literature was kinda boring. I think it's me for being inattentive during BM lessons.

Since I was free for the night, why not give it a try? Therefore, I called Gzhang to come along for The Musical.

Grand Circle Tickets! =)

All of us went in as V.I.P and it was grand as we were all in our formal attires.

I don't quite know his name, but I know his initials, which is CY. He was the guy who gave us the free tickets. Thanks dude! *I've had a great night!* Standing next to him were Quin and Gzhang.

Me, CY and Quin

The musical was great! I reckon it was the best musical I've ever seen besides, Cats and Saturday Night Fever. Got nice seats as well. =)

A very romantic story on how divine love can be for a loyal man,Tuah to fight with his king *indirectly* in search of eternal love with his Puteri Gunung Ledang. *Alright, I'm just crapping this*

The Casts

Well, I truly enjoyed the musical as well as Saturday night itself! It was a splendid night where I enjoyed watching a musical with my best friends. =)

The Three of Us

Guo Zhang and I

Beauty and The Beast

Hmmm...?

Now I get it..

Alright, alright, let's take a "tuala" picture.

Rock On!

Love you guys lots!

The End

Chapter closed for a wonderful Saturday.

Making the right choice...

It has been almost 3 months since the last time I entered Form 6.

I was hesitated whether should I take up A-Levels or Form 6 during early January. As far as I can see, most of my friends went to college, practically all.

Many have questioned me. Why form 6?

Haha...my answer will sound rather silly than matured. Because of Pek Har. Yup! Because my passion towards her teachings. She's an inspiration for me to take up this challenge of mine. Indeed, so far the greatest of all.

So what's so unique about form 6? To many, it's just starky plain and boring, routines and uniforms. True, that was how I felt in the early stages of Lower 6. As time goes by, it turned out great! I get to meet new friends, new environment and above all, A NEW CHALLENGE TO MYSELF.

I'm fine and alright now. Will life be better in college? I wouldn't know as I've not been into college. But I doubt it'll be as great as a life of a form 6 student.

Form 6 is fun. Everyday, you get to attend your favourite subjects. For me, they're nonetheless, Chemistry, Physics and Maths and lastly P.A. abbreviation for Pengajian Am though I might not enjoy it.

F.y.i. That's Maths class.

I enjoyed my life in form 6, every bits of it!

Of kind and caring friends and uber cool stuff we did in class....

Love you guys! <3

JOCK!

Jock will be a new genre in music created by me! =)

It's basically a cross between rock and jazz.

Jazz + Rock = Jock

The result of it? I'm not too sure. Hear for yourself. My new single, jazzypat *still working on it*.

*P/s: I need a band, I really do!

I'm still considering to make this an instrumental music or a song. Any ideas?

Everlasting night.

If tonight will last, will you hold my hands and feel the breezing air?
Will you sit with me at the edge of the cliff to feel the warmth sea?
Towering the world, we could cover a far distance.
And soar through the skies, dancing under the stars where the moon shines upon us....
And only the both of us.......

Science 2 Class of 2006.

I've been transferred to S.M.K Sultan Abdul Samad for one and half months. Customary, when we're exposed to new environments, we eventually meet up with new friends. Guess I'm still in this cycle. I pretty much enjoyed my new "life" in Samad. *Yes! Every bit of it*

We had a class pornography photography session 2 days ago. In addition, I brought my own camera to sneak off from the rip-offs of overpriced photos from the Editorial Board though I'm in it.

Lower Six Science 2 class of 2006

I can say that we're one big happy family. Too happy at times till the teacher told us it's the norm for the physics class to go haywire all the time. My class consists of 28 students - 25 boys and 3 girls. The ratio of girls to boys is roughly 1 : 8. *Amazing*

*Candid* Can you spot me?

*Hint: I'm the one doing the "rock" signs.

My hang out kakis.

"My hang out kakis " consists :
  • One P.K.B acronym for Perverted Kinky Bastard. (Tysern)
  • One "notorious" yet caring friend. (Kar Fai) *Don't let his looks fool you*
  • One "queen" whose English is so superior that I think I'm blogging kindegarten english. (Lee Quin)
  • Not to forget, the horny yet perverted me. (Hornian)
And we tend to do stupid things in class.

For example:

Licking is allowed in class.

Cam-whoring in your best horny state.

S2 Arm Wrestling Federation

Did I mention? Tysern actually lost to a girl in arm wrestling. *tsk tsk tsk* Tysern, stop playing bowling with your testicles. *Please...I beg you...*

Doing random thinkings.

So basically, that's what you can do in the class when the teacher is not around. There are more radical acts carried out, but I didn't manage to capture those moments. =)

I'm fine in Samad, enjoying my life over there. Till then ...........

ROCK ON!
