Random ramblings.

I'm feeling lethargic nowadays. A friend of mine told me that I'm just being lazy. Exam's around the corner. Yet, I'm not hyped about it as I should be studying now.

Life's a highway. and we're all in that very journey to our goals.

Try to take your time and stand on top of a bridge and observe the moving cars. Everything seems to pass by so fast. This refers to the changes in our lives as well.

I was playing a game of basketball with my friends in the evening. To my surprise, some of them had gotten themselves into a relationship. Funny as it may sound, those were the guys who once thought that having relationship is a waste of time.

I smiled while walking home. =)

And for them, best wishes from me.
Wish upon a starry sky.

The smell of unity.

Yes, finally, I have a band, literally. Band name? N/A for the moment.

From a near complete band in 2004 , to The Breakfast Club in 2005 and now 2006, the band is finally completed.

Back in year 2004, I had to undergo ups and downs and ended up walking out from the band due to certain reasons.

The Breakfast Club in 2005 however, was kinda successful which consisted of a pianist, Ziyan, a guitarist, myself and Yobi, the vocalist. We had even joined the S.M.K Taman SEA talent quest with our hit song - Bittersweet Symphony, a cover from The Verve. Sadly, the judges were mostly "pop-sided". There goes the rock spirit, down the drain.

And now, Yobi is attending drum lessons while for me, I'm back to the ROCK-y roads.

The current band members:
Patrick -
Guitarist, Vocals, Bass*considering taking it*
Justin - Guitarist, Vocals
Yobi - Drummer, Vocals

Our band is near perfect to perform as a rock band. The Gig-O-Meter is at a reading of 65%. All we just need is some equipments and *walla*, we can ROCK your face off!

About Yobi
Rock Genre : Indie/ Brit. Rock
Instrument : Drums

Yobi currently does not own a drumset. But his dream drumset will be Pearl drumset.

About Justin
Rock Genre: Metal Rock *If not mistaken cause he used to like S.O.A.D.*
Instrument: Guitar

Justin is currently using a Jackson guitar which model I'm uncertain of. Besides, he's using a Rocktron R20 amplifier. *which makes me envy of him*

About myself
Rock Genre:
Instrumental Rock/ Improvisation
Instrument: Guitar

I'm currently rocking with my Schecter Omen-6. Though Schecter is not a famous brand like Ibanez or Fender, but well, it's from the US. So, it's all good.

About my ampliflier, it's some cheap skate 10 watt amplifier. But, I'm looking forward for a Marshall 50 Watter, which is something similar to this:

Alright, enough said. Time to rock-off. *Rock on*

BRAND'S

Have you guys came across this advertisement of BRAND'S Chicken Essence? The one which stated it's proven that students who drink BRAND'S Chicken Essence everyday will excel in their studies? Alright, some of you may seem blur.

Check this out:

This is just so wrong. I'm sure that many of us did not drink BRAND's Chicken Essence during our SPMs or even PMRs and we excelled in it. Don't you think so? Well, if they think that chicken essence really boosts your brain, then I can also say that water is even better. I drink water every morning before going to school and I scored 10 A's too in my SPM. *Just to go on-par with Mr. Nerdy above.*

Therefore, I present to you this:

Without chicken essence, you can still survive. But without water, you'll definitely die. =)

Booohoooo! True my arse!

I'd just received an email from Agnes.

The title goes : 33 Facts about Guys enclosed with *really very true................... *

Fine that I admit certain points are quite true, but some are just absurdly ridiculous which I think originated from the girls' point of view.

Item no:

11. Guys love their moms.

As if girls don't like their moms. In fact, their moms will be the one giving advices.

15.
If a guy tells you he loves you once in a lifetime. He does.

WTF?! My advice, don't get married. Why? From what quoted, you can work out this formulae.

Your husband will definitely say more than a hundred times. Work it out yourself.

17.
Like Eve, girls are guys' weaknesses.

What is your stand for gays?

25. Guys think too much.

Yes ah... I believe *crosses fingers*

29. Guys are more talkative than girls are especially when the topic is
about girls.

Oh really? How sure is this statement? I think girls will talk as much as 9876983465 times more than guys when the topic is about guys.

Phew... I'm once again stress-free after releasing all these musings.

My life's not as interesting as yours. So, my posts will be stark than intriguing. But, I find this clip hilarious.

A bunch of monkeys.

Yes! My class is full of monkeys and proudly to say, I am one too! During free time, we tend to do stupid-crazy-uber-cool things. Take this for example:

I'm being wrapped using plastic wrappers. In addition, I'd been molested. By molested, Jason squeezed my nips and spanked my arse. Yes... Sadist he is one.

Tribute to Steve.

I used to think that documentaries about crocodile would be rather stark and boring. But one man, I must say, made it interesting. For once, I actually enjoy watching him hosting crocodile documentaries. He is the one and only, Steve Irwin. He died of a freak accident. Yes, freaky indeed but at least, he died of something he loved doing.

Life's interesting and unpredictable. Many things can just happen abruptly without you knowing it. Yes, life is just so fragile. Who knows, I might not be submitting another post after this. Therefore, cherish our lives. We only have one....

Before I end this, I would like to share a quote.

"When I'm gone, remember me as a friend in your heart as I'll always be in your memory. Think of me whenever you see a rainbow....." - Patrick Kua

Blablayawnyawn post.

Yes! Friday had arrived, finally! But, it had been a mundane one. Due to boredom, I've succumbed to blogging.

Went to a recording session with Yobi and Justin at Ironwood Guitar Experience. I'm gonna turn deaf soon. =( *Remind me to bring ear plugs for the next session.*

The Green Room

We've been playing Bittersweet Symphony - The Verve as cover. And it turned out to be funky! =) Well, this is what you call - creative! Ahh...Yes!..Creativity rocks souls...

Our very first jam session and I can say it went well... Can't really expect much since we're all amatuers.

Finally! A decent picture.

We don't have a band name yet. For the moment, I shall call it "Patrick,Yobi,Justin".

Patrick,Yobi,Justin
